As we celebrate Heritage month in South Africa this month, I can’t help thinking of citizenship being a team effort as retail is a team sport. We celebrate heritage day on the 24 Sep 2020 (Braai day…google it). I am proud to be a South African Retailer. Some might ask what is a Retailer?
Retail according to wiki…Retail is the process of selling consumer goods or services to customers through multiple channels of distribution to earn a profit. So a retailer is the person or persons part of that process. Does not matter where you find yourself management, sales, owner or leadership you all play critical part in the Retail Team.
You all know the saying there is no I in Team, Retail and Citizenship is a team effort. Through collaboration, engagement, planning and hard work the end result will be achieved. As we count down the year we are all counting down the day for 2020 to end. “Don’t count the days, make the days count.”
