Dear Friends
If you live in and around Centurion, Rietvlei is a 20 min drive from most places. Cheaper than watching a movie, Rietvlei is a must visit even if you in Gauteng or just visiting. There is extensive Facebook group and amazing wild life signings posted every day. The best 2 hours of my week at least every second week. Just to be out the traffic and surrounded by nature, sole food I tell you. What makes it amazing is, that you drive through with your car. There is a small restaurant inside, but believe me nothing beats watching mother nature with your sandwiches and coffee in hand.
Why am I telling you about Rietvlei? This year has changed life as we know forever, the new normal will never be normal again. You can think about any industry, in any country serving and demographic, life has changed. The only constant in my view is nature. I speak to people every day who have lived here all their lives and never been to Rietvlei. I find my peace in nature, the bush or the beach. You need to find that spot where time does not matter and you can soak up the fresh air in amazement with mother nature. Find your Rietvlei, near your home and appreciate what we have.
My challenge is that you make time and take time to enjoy nature, share it with friends and family. Find that balance 😉
